PLANETE+ DOC MASTERS: Erwin Wagenhofer – after the screening of “Alphabet”

Erwin Wagenhofer is the author of some of the best known and most controversial documentaries of the recent years which criticize the global food industry ("We feed the world") as well as economic ("Let's make money") and educational systems ("Alphabet"). He approaches his topics very methodically, creating insightful documentary essays on essential problems of the modern world while keeping in mind the rhythm, poetry and visual part of the film’s image.

Would you like to know more about the people who transform reality into art? Where is the border between registration and creation? What lies at the foundation of the source of ideas of more renown artists and what are the secrets of their trade?
You can find answers to these and other questions in Wroclaw during the meetings with the master documentary filmmakers as part of the PLANETE+ DOC MASTERS, which aim to break down the barrier between the audience and famous directors of documentaries.

The meeting will be held by:

Bartosz Żurawiecki – journalist, columnist, writer and art critic, the winner of the Krzysztof Mętrak Award. Head of reviews department in the magazine “Kino”. He has cooperated, among others, with “Przekrój” magazine, “Kino”, “Film”, “Gazeta Wyborcza” and Onet.pl website.
