Mamatucada is the first female percussion band in Poland, playing an unusually energetic music (samba, funk, bossa nova, samba reggae). It is the only female batucada (Brazilian percussive ensemble playing samba and accompanying parades) in Poland. Mamatucada will perform together with Tomasz Bednarczyk who combines qualitative pop with sensitive sounds as well as ambient with more lively rhythms. They will play in an atmospheric garden at the Festival Club.
The Group Mamatucada is composed of: repinique – Marianna Wasik, caixa – Aleksandra Wasik, surdo – Anna Krotoska, Katarzyna Kapela, chocalho – Alicja Aksamit, Agata Owczarek, agogo – Magdalena Jaroszyk, tamborim – Joanna Gniazdowska, Joanna Kaczmarek.
