The exhibition presents pictures from the opening sequence of Peter Mettler’s “Gambling, Gods and LSD”. The pictures are covered with dozens of others, typically television shots. Through this layering, the original images become individually indiscernible, giving way to infinity of interpretations. The works are best studied many times, from different distances. As one steps forward or back, different shapes and meanings appear.
Peter Mettler – renowned Canadian director, photographer and visual artist, special guest of this year’s PLANETE+ DOC FILM FESTIVAL, during which you can see a retrospective of his films. His latest movie “The End of Time” opened the Wroclaw edition of the festival.
