Workshops in English

DOK-Incubator is a series of international workshops for European documentary filmmakers. Over the course of three 7-day training sessions participants will be presented with eight carefully chosen European documentaries (two of which are Polish productions). The project’s main focus is to assist filmmakers, both directors and producers, as they edit their movies and prepare their sales pitches. Filmmakers will be assisted by a dozen-odd documentary film experts. Editing, marketing, sales, the role of new media in documentary filmmaking – these are just some of the topics that will be covered by the workshops that should ultimately lead to having the films’ final cuts screen at DOK Leipzig film festival. Some of the European film sales agents are expected to attend the sessions, which provides an additional asset.
