The young authors look at the present image of migrants in Europe. Among those are an art student from Iran, a Pole born in France, a reporter of Belsat, and an independent Belarusian television journalist. They live in Poland, the UK, Turkey and Spain, and their stories draw a new map of contemporary Europe. As part of the Remapping Europe project, they told their stories in the form of a remix. Apart from the films, you can watch an unusual Live Cinema Show, during which, in the rhythm of live music and image mixes, the authors will once again touch upon the subject of borders. Remapping Europe is an international project, initiated by Doc Next Network. The Polish partner of the network is the Association of Creative Initiatives “ę”.

During PLANETE+ DOC FILM FESTIVAL, the foyer of the Iluzjon theatre will become a screening room for Doc Next Network films, showing movies made by D.I.Y. creators from Poland, Spain, UK and Turkey. They shoot indies, picturing local heroes, or make critical video remixes about media and politics, presenting new aspects of life in Europe.
The Polish partner of Doc Next Network is the Towarzystwo Inicjatyw Twórczych “ę”.
