Andrzej Smolik

The most renowned music producer in Poland. Apart from producing albums for other artists (like Katarzyna Nosowska, Maria Peszek, Robert Gawliński, Krzysztof Krawczyk, Maryla Rodowicz), he publishes his own records. Smolik’s music is a combination of subtle electronics with very spacious, acoustic sounds, string orchestra, brass band and extraordinarily arranged melodies. Very successful score writer for the films, theatre shows and television. He is also the author of music for many ad campaigns and spots. In Novemer 2012 he published his latest album “The Trip”, part of the transmedium project in collaboration with Kissinger Twins (Kasia Kifert & Dawid Marcinkowski) and a London-based agency unit9. “The Trip” is a combination of short film, interactive video, photographic project and Smolik’s album concept.
