Adam Budak will talk to Sharon Lockhart about her artistic method, in which the documentary is the basis for creating a highly artistic and aesthetic narration. Formal elements turn the documentary into an abstract, universal form. Lockhart’s films, described as experimental documentary or social documentary, are socially concerned and preceded by research. They combine avant-garde traditions of neo-structural, minimalist film, and they are close to ethnographic films.
