Digital PLANETE+ DOC FILM FESTIVAL Weekend

This year, the festival can again be enjoyed by audiences in Warsaw as well as almost everywhere else in Poland. Festival film screenings throughout Poland will allow film buffs to feel like the residents of a global village.
With the support of Polish Arthouse Cinemas Network, 6 films from the program of 2012 PLANETE+ DOC FILM FESTIVAL will be screened simultaneously in 22 Polish theaters.
Viewers will vote for the best film, which will receive the Arthouse Cinemas Network Award. Aside from voting, viewers will have the opportunity to take part in the an audience competition and win attractive prizes.
In selected cities, the screenings of “Surviving Progress” will be followed by the debates on the civilizational growth, which are co-organized by Greenpeace Poland and Heinrich Böll Foundation.

Additionally, thanks to the cooperation with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) Bureau, screenings of the film “Urbanized” in selected cities (Lodz, Lublin, Cracow, Poznan) will be followed by panel discussions with the participating local authorities.
