The debate about the food that ends up on our plates has been going strong for the past few years. Most of what is available in Polish stores has been produced by means of industrial farming, which employs controversial chemical measures to protect the plants. The pandemic use of genetically modified products in the food industry makes GMO another hot issue. Scientists warn against introducing genetically-engineered elements into the food chain too hastily, as they have not been tested thoroughly enough. At the same time, independent research conducted on animals has already identified a number potential threats to our health.

Organic farming, which is GMO- and pesticide-free serves as an alternative to industrial food processing and chemical pesticides.

The debate will be held in Polish.
No entry charge. Entry priority will be given to viewers of the film preceding the debate.
This project was realized with the financial support of Warsaw authorities.
